On mi last vacations I had the opportunity to make a trip, I went to Bogotá. I traveled with my parents and my brother on June 20th, we went there by bus around about 18 hours, we left Barranquilla at 2:30 pm and we arrived to Bogotá at 9 or 10:00 a.m the next day, it was fun but a little exhaustive.
We came at The Transport Terminal to Bogotá, then we got to the apartment where my uncle lives and we stayed there for the rest of the days. Later, we rested, ate something and then we went for a walk. We walked for a very nice parks, we strolled for the city center where the "Plaza de Bolivar", "The Casa de Nariño", we toured the historical sites of Bogotá like the Cathedral, The Casa de Moneda, Luis Angel Arango Library, Gold Museum etc. After, w
e met Monserrate, a beautiful place situated in a mountain with a spectacular scenary, there is a church and inside is the monument of the Señor Caido, very popular there, we prayed for everythigs and everyone. On the second day, we were in Simon Bolivar Park, there's a very nice lake, we took a lot of pictures there. Later, we got to a famous amusement park called Salitre Mágico, we used some attractions, games and mechanical rides, it was raining but we spent good. On the third day, we visited Jaime Duque Park, very famous there, situated on the outskirts of the city, there are a vareity of beautiful gardens, famous monuments, a Zoo, a lake and a little amusement park. On the fourth day, we prepared all to leave, bought some souvenirs and returned to Barranquilla.

To all my friends I would recommend visiting Bogotà because it's a lovely city.
